نظّمت مؤسسة بيت أطفال الصمود في جميع مراكزها سلسلة من الأنشطة الفنية الوطنية الثقافية والرياضية، عمّت المخيمات الفلسطينية في لبنان من شماله إلى جنوبه، بمشاركة واسعة من الأطفال والشباب والأهالي، كما تم وضع أكاليل من الورد على النصب التذكارية للشهداء.
وقد أكدت المؤسسة، في كلمتها وأنشطتها، أن ما يجري اليوم في غزة من عدوان وحصار يذكّر العالم بمآسي شعبنا المستمرة منذ عقود، وأن مجزرة تل الزعتر ليست مجرد ذكرى، بل جرح مفتوح في الذاكرة الفلسطينية، وشاهد على صمودنا رغم الألم.
كما شددت على أن مرور 49 عاماً على تأسيس بيت أطفال الصمود هو استمرار لمسيرة عطاءٍ مستمر ومتطوّر في خدمة أبناء شعبنا، والتزام راسخ بالثوابت الوطنية، حتى تحقيق حلم التحرير والعودة إلى وطننا الغالي فلسطين.
On the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the Tel al-Zaatar massacre, and in conjunction with the 49th anniversary of the establishment of the institution,
Beit Atfal Assumoud organized a series of cultural, artistic, national, and sports activities across all its centers, extending from the north to the south of Lebanon’s Palestinian camps, with wide participation from children, youth, and families. Wreaths of flowers were also laid on the memorials of the martyrs.
In its statement and activities, the institution affirmed that the ongoing aggression and siege on Gaza today remind the world of the tragedies our people have endured for decades, stressing that the Tel al-Zaatar massacre is not merely a memory, but an open wound in the Palestinian collective memory, and a testimony to our resilience despite the pain.
It also emphasized that the 49 years since the founding of Beit Atfal Assumoud represent a continuation of a journey of constant and evolving dedication in serving our people, and a firm commitment to national principles, until the realization of the dream of liberation and the return to our beloved homeland, Palestine.
